 Our Schools and Youth Groups programme provides outdoor activities that offer new insights and experiences around Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park - just 30 minutes from Glasgow. We offer a variety of water and land based activities from our operational base at Loch Lomond Shores Visitor Centre in Balloch.
Our activities programme is designed to identify strongly with the ethos of the new National Park, providing our customers with an environmentally friendly, educational, and fun way to get out and explore the area.
We have a wide range of activities that you can choose from. Sessions can be based on one activity or you can try a multi-activity session from a half day to a full week! Additionally, there is no need for you to source your accommodation, transportation and an activity provider separately, as we have an ideal package designed especially for school groups, where you need only make one phone call. Curriculum for Excellence and Key Stages Take the classroom outdoors. Everyone loves to learn, but creating the right environment for that learning experience is often a challenge. By getting the young people out of the classroom and into the outdoor environment, they are more open to learning. Furthermore, We aim to match the outcomes of the new curriculum for excellence: Confident Individuals: Physical outdoor activities develop both confidence and wellbeing Successful Learners: Exciting outdoor activities provide opportunities for learning through experiences Responsible Citizens: Challenging outdoor activities develop respect of others and the environment Effective Contributors: Experience Team Challenges designed to assist team development and co-operation. Prices Our prices for schools and youth groups are extremely competitive and easy to manage.
