Updated 14 April 2010. Currently recruiting for full time, part time, and sessional outdoor activity assistants. For the full time position, the candidate must have a current driving license with an ’E’ endorsement for towing trailers. We offer a range of employment opportunities, full and part time Outdoor Activity Instructors and Outdoor Activity Assistants. Positions are for the Summer season May-September. Activity Assistants are predominantly employed to work at the hire operation, and will occasionally assist with group activities, which are led by Activity Instructors. Activity Assistants are not required to have qualifications, although Power Boat Level 2, and the ability to drive and tow trailers is preferred. Activity Instructor must have a valid first aid certificate and one or more of the following qualifications : - Level 2 Open Canoe Coach (preferred)
- Trail Cycle Leader (preferred)
- Walking Group Leader or Summer Mountain Leader
- Single Pitch Award
Experience of delivering a variety of teambuilding activities to a range of clients is also desirable, as is the ability to drive and tow trailers. We also operate with several Freelance/Associate Instructors who work on an ’as and when required basis’. Rate of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.
